A couple of issues needs to be fixed please :

1- Rating Subtitles only works with VPN !! Seriously Why ?

2- you are not reacting for a long time to edit Movies and Series unknown posters ?

And thank you .

The Good

It seems the owner not interested any more, no interaction with the members, no improvment
very sad!

I think it's good idea to backup our work and uploads to opensubtitles.org, just in case subscene closes down.

Actually you can link you Subscene user with Subdl and backup all your subtitles in 1 click :

Thank you, according to their site it only has 718 members, unless I got that wrong, that's not enough to maintain the site and pretty soon they will run out of funds and maybe close down, too. Site options and features are also limited. I don't think they even have a forum.
With my RAID set up and Kodi apps, I can download subs from opensubtitles more conveniently. When the old site is replaced by new one: https://www.opensubtitles.com/en/home, I think I would personally be happy there with the modern layout. Let's see what happens with subscene, thanks for reaching out to me, though. :)

Sad to say that we are at the end of the line, the website seems to have a lot of bugs recently and esbecially after the owner announced that he’s no longer can efforts the website costs with all of that i think it’s leading to a shutdown eventually, i heard from someone that the owner won’t reply to them. I’ve been in this website community since a long time ago tbh it’s like leaving home when it shutdown. I think if Subscene gone Torrent won’t be useful anymore. End of an era? God i hope not

Looks like the site is being abandoned, over the last three months uploading subs has been a pain in the ass, infinite Cloudflare loops, could only get it working by cleaning everything on the computer and using a VPN, but it comes back within a few hours, personally I think Cloudflare is killing the internet.

I don't think there's any team actually working behind Subscene. I never get answers when writing to the moderation. Now rating doesn't work anymore. I hope it won't close down, but if it does, I'll go elsewhere, there are alternatives (not opensubtitles, their display is bad)
