How To Bridge Gaps Between Lines

I've been looking for a way to remove that annoying time gaps between lines that are usually 500ms or less. Finally, after a very long time searching the net, I stumbled upon a software called Subtitle Edit. This program has a feature called Bridge Gap Between Subtitles. You can find the feature under tools. After you click on it, a new window will show showing all the lines in the subtitle and the time gaps between them. Leave "Previous text takes all the gap time" selected. Set the period you want to be selected in "Bridge gaps smaller than" (500ms for example) and set "Min. milliseconds between lines" to 0 to literally remove any gap. This will remove all the gaps in the subtitle in one go. Many thanks to the creators of Subtitle Edit for something I believe very important to have in every editing software for subtitles. I hope this helps people who hate those annoying gaps.
